IMPLEMENTATION & TRAINING SPECIALIST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Implementation and Training Specialist will be responsible for handling multiple IT projects concurrently. He or she will work closely with new clients to ensure a smooth implementation of the ResortSuite software. A large part of this position will include travel to client sites for onsite training and implementations. Training will also be done remotely. Additional duties include in-house training and upkeep of training and technical documentation.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

The candidate chosen will be professional, self-motivated, possess exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal skills. He or she will be willing to travel, and work well with little or no supervision as well as amongst a team. He/she will demonstrate excellent organizational and presentation skills and perform well in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines. Minimum 3 years of hotel operations experience preferred. Computer skills are a must, including and not limited to Microsoft Office, Windows, and previous experience with ResortSuite catering or hotel software as well as other industry hospitality management solutions.

TECHNICAL SOLUTION ADVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

He/she will troubleshoot complex technical issues over the phone and remote desktop technology. Other duties will include training, hotel software and other testing, report creation, and documentation.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

The ideal candidate for this position will have prior call centre/technical support experience, working with property management and/or leisure management software.

The candidate chosen for this position will have extensive knowledge of computer networking, Windows operating systems (both server and client), database experience, ORACLE and SQL, as well as rudimentary accounting knowledge. Fundamental troubleshooting experience, great written and verbal communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team environment are also required.  The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience.   Prior hotel/hospitality experience, and working knowledge of French is an asset.  Previous experience with the ResortSuite solution is preferential.

WEB DEVELOPER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will join our company as a web developer and will assist in the development and maintenance of the ResortSuite WEB product.  The candidate chosen will be experienced, bright, highly motivated, and have a strong desire to work independently and as part of a team.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

The candidate chosen for this position will have a strong web development background, extensive experience working with Oracle and SQL. VB, C and C++, Java, JSP, HTML, XML (XSLT, Ajax would be a bonus), SOAP, and ASP are also required. Crystal Reports are also necessary criteria. The individual must have experience with Windows 2000, 2003 Server, 2000 and XP Pro platforms. Good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems are a must as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
