IMPLEMENTATION & TRAINING SPECIALIST
We are currently seeking candidates who are looking for a new opportunity to use and expand their hospitality background as an Implementation and Training Specialist. This role involves working directly with our client properties serving as both the Project Manager and Trainer throughout the entire implementation and go-live process.
This candidate must be eager to travel, properly manage time and multiple tasks, and work well independently, while simultaneously embracing the team culture of ResortSuite. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate the company value of providing exceptional support and training to our clients throughout the implementation process so they are able to maximize the functionality benefits of our robust and fully integrated software product.
The candidate chosen must understand the unique business processes and guest flows of the client property and feel confident making recommendations regarding system configuration based on client requirements. He/she will need to create, execute, and manage the Implementation project plan based on the contracted scope, time and budget. This candidate must be confident conducting both remote and onsite training sessions with managers and front line end users.
Additional Requirements for this position include having knowledge and experience with basic computer functions and systems and a minimum of 3 years hotel operations or hospitality related experience. A background in technical computer services is preferred.
TECHNICAL SOLUTION ADVISOR
He/she will troubleshoot complex technical issues over the phone and remote desktop technology. Other duties will include training, hotel software and other testing, report creation, and documentation.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior call centre/technical support experience, working with property management and/or leisure management software.
The candidate chosen for this position will have extensive knowledge of computer networking, Windows operating systems (both server and client), database experience, ORACLE and SQL, as well as rudimentary accounting knowledge. Fundamental troubleshooting experience, great written and verbal communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work within a team environment are also required. The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience. Prior hotel/hospitality experience, and working knowledge of French is an asset. Previous experience with the ResortSuite solution is preferential.
The successful candidate will join our company as a web developer and will assist in the development and maintenance of the ResortSuite WEB product. The candidate chosen will be experienced, bright, highly motivated, and have a strong desire to work independently and as part of a team.
The candidate chosen for this position will have a strong web development background, extensive experience working with Oracle and SQL. VB, C and C++, Java, JSP, HTML, XML (XSLT, Ajax would be a bonus), SOAP, and ASP are also required. Crystal Reports are also necessary criteria. The individual must have experience with Windows 2000, 2003 Server, 2000 and XP Pro platforms. Good analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems are a must as well as good interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
